Reliable Septic Pumping

Septic pumping will increase both the performance and the longevity of your septic system. Our pumping services will remove sludge and other materials for your system. If you’ve noticed an odor, slow draining or flushing, or standing water, it’s time for your septic system to be pumped.

We Make a Difference

At Bob Young Septic, we understand how important clean water is for your home or business. We use updated equipment to ensure both a reliable and efficient job and all water waste we pump is properly disposed of at the Barberton Sewer Waste Water Plant instead of emptied on rural land like other companies. As our customer, you’ll benefit from our septic services—we’ll even send you postcard reminders. Our goal is to keep your septic system running properly.

When You Need Septic Pumping

In general, septic systems need to be pumped every one to three years, but it depends on how frequently your system is used in your home or business. Typical warning signs are usually waste backup, strange odors, or plumbing drainage issues.
If you’re unsure whether you need septic pumping, call our Customer Service team.

Are You Buying a New Home?

If you’re in the market for a new home, you should be aware of rules surrounding septic inspections for real estate properties. Many banks won’t approve loans for homes that have not undergone septic inspection. To avoid this setback, savvy home buyers choose to get a thorough septic inspection performed before putting an offer on a new home.

Commercial & Residential Aeration Pumping

Our company has serviced residential and commercial properties since 1979, and we’re the best. We’re always committed to customer satisfaction.

How Septic Systems Work

A septic system is a highly efficient, self-contained, underground wastewater treatment system. In a septic tank, sewage from the home forms three layers: scum, liquid, and sludge. Septic tanks are designed to allow liquid to flow out of the tank and for scum and sludge layers to stay in the tank. Eventually, scum and sludge need to be pumped. If you’ve had a new septic system installed since 2009, you have an aeration, or aerobic, septic system. Aeration systems work in the same way, except that sewage is broken down through air infusion.

Aeration Pumping

Despite aeration systems being more efficient in breaking down sewage, your system still needs to be pumped every two to three years due to scum and sludge buildup. There are very few companies who will pump aeration systems, but Bob Young Septic is an expert in aeration pumping. With over four decades of experience, we’ll keep your aerobic septic system running for many years.

Our company offers postcard reminders on routine service for your aeration system. If you’ve noticed drainage backups, strange odors, or your system alarm going off, schedule our services today.
